About Jazz Bassist Gabriele Donati
Gabriele Donati is originally from Switzerland. In 1995 he moved to NYC to further his musical studies. In 2000 he received his BFA in Jazz and Contemporary Music from The New School University. Since then Gabriele has been active on the NYC Jazz scene and has played with names such: Frank Morgan, Javon Jackson, Richie Beirach, Ehud Asherie, Harry Allen, Jason Brown, Lawrence Leathers, Tadataka Unno, Sacha Perry, Michael Kanan, Fukushi Tainaka, Steve Williams, Pete Van Nostrand, Grant Stewart, Steve Little, Tim Pleasant, Steve Ash, Aaron Kimmel, and Stephen Riley.
